  • What: A study of fairness in immigration bail hearings in the First Tier Tribunal for represented and unrepresented applicants
  • Who: Bail for Immigration Detainees
  • When: 2011–2012

During this 18 month project I designed and executed the research (using teams of barristers and law students to assist with court observations), carried out all data analysis, authored a 100 page report, and carried out follow-up policy work with the Immigration Tribunal, NOMS, and the Home Office.
